Squire Patton Boggs - Great Experience / Friendly People

I worked for PPCB as an associate attorney in its Washington office during my last year working there. It was challenging but great experience overall! The people are very friendly which made it easy to learn from them while still having fun. There wasn't much that i disliked about this place. They have some amazing benefits like health insurance (which we didn’t take advantage) and retirement plans. If they don’t pay well then why would someone want to work here? Work hard because if not…

Pros
  • PPCB gives a lot of support in terms of opportunities to grow and develop as an attorney
Cons
  • There is very limited job opportunities for recent grads and most of the jobs within the firm are not open to recent grads

Great law firm - especially when paired up

The depth the partnership has in its network across US/UK markets allows us access not only across but also within each market for new client relationships. It's great being able give this kind advice rather than receiving it from an expensive consultant! No real complaints but would say that having too large networks limits how many deals can be run through them (not enough hands to work around). If looking to partner with international lawyers or expand into multiple territories then I'd look

Pros
  • Deep understanding about both transactionsand corporate finance.
  • Knowledgeable staffs at all levels,
  • High value added experience senior management involvement is present throughout every project cycle , ensuring high level governance.,Cons?: Nothing really comes immediatelyto mind
Cons
  • It is hard to say
