Works with SRAM Guide RSC

Worked on my SRAM Guide RSC brakes. The Edge system works very well. The only complaint is the price. Seems cool for a bleed set.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Concise manual

A perfect match for my Guide R brakes

These are genuine SRAM parts so they are a perfect match for my 2015 Guide R brakes. Before using, be sure to watch the SRAM video on YouTube for pumping instructions.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • weak

A Must Have for SRAM Brake Bleeds

I have never bled brakes before and had my doubts about the process but this kit definitely ticked the box! Combined with a SRAM tech video on YouTube it was a fairly easy process and everything needed was included.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Protection

Expensive but works well

Bleeding the brakes isn't really difficult, it just sounds more difficult than it is. This kit did not come with fluid but luckily I still have plenty of ATE Super left after bleeding the car's brakes. I would have preferred larger syringes because I had to stop mid-bleed to empty/refill to do a full flush. It's not necessary if you're just pumping them, but why pump when a full flush is almost effortless? After a full flush my brakes are much better at TLM level.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Secret

GET THIS KIT! - Bike tools and service

Well, first I used a branded universal brake bleeder kit. WHY GOD, WHY?! GET THIS KIT! Eliminates the frustration of tubes popping out of syringes due to ill-fitting barbs. Corrosive brake fluid everywhere! GET THIS KIT! Sorry to shout but I immediately noticed a difference in quality between this kit and the cheap all in one kit I tried the first time (which made me throw a childish tantrum). I like looking for great deals, but this is an area where it pays to shop for a real deal. So…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Perfect for Energy Elixir

COVID-19 means my local bike shop that I have trusted in the past has bled the Energy Elixir brakes on my Stumpy FSR comp. I decided it was time to give it a try since I'm servicing the rest of my bike. I tried using an inexpensive brake bleed kit but it sucked so I bought this official one. Doesn't matter! I had a YouTube Sram video on repeat so I could catch every step without taking my gloves off. The kit included DOT fluid so you don't have to buy it yourself. Definitely comfortable. But…

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • No Automatic

This kit is *very complete* as it will most likely fit any hydraulic brake kit that SRAM or Avid have produced. To be honest, that's a bit of an exaggeration. I would have preferred to see one that was only for newer brakes and maybe a little cheaper. Note: If you are ordering this with new SRAM brakes you can probably skip this kit and just get the DOT kit with fluid and syringe which includes the bleeding edge adapter. New SRAM box brakes (at least my G2 RSC) come with small tools, bleeders…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
