Be careful not like the picture.

They came from UK OPEN and were unpacked in an envelope with no SRAM packaging. Not like in the photo. The links also have some discoloration/fading which I have tried to show in the second picture. I don't have the new PowerLock to compare but it looks like they only cleaned up used links, which is patchy as SRAM recommends that links not be reused and are therefore useless. Super disappointed.

Chain links are one of the best things to do with

If you've given up on the chain and breaker pins for good, this is for you. Four Pack is a good deal if you catch it at the right time. They are speed sensitive so make sure they match your gearbox. No tool is required to replace them, although a tool is usually required to remove them. The tool (guaranteed to be listed on the item page) is relatively cheap and makes it easy to make changes. If necessary, you can use pliers with small needle jaws, but they're not the best. A circuit breaker is…

Used Product - Sport

I am comparing them to the new SRAM quick links that came in the original packaging (they came in a mailing envelope). They have obvious scuffs at the contact points and the one I'm comparing them to doesn't. The one I'm comparing it to also looks like shiny stainless steel. They are dull grey. Obviously they are not new.

Original SRAM Power Locks

These are original SRAM Power Locks. I haven't used them but bought them so I have spares when I need them. I'll keep one in my pocket while I drive. The price for a set of 4 was ok. Note: the description says 4 but I only received 1 and it looks like they had it with them. I called Revain and they sent a replacement set. I don't know why or what the problem is that they can't properly quantify.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • High price

Not what I expected

I paid maximum money for 2 sets of 4 SRAM Powerlock links, waited 18 days for delivery and finally received 8 sets of links in an envelope (so no manufacturer packaging). The first picture shows what was advertised, the second picture shows what was supplied. The only saving is that they are actually 11 speed SRAM Powerlock links. If you have 3 weeks to burn and track down the tiny expensive parts in your tool box that go with the rest of the nuts, bolts and other spare parts. , this seller is…

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • The list is getting long.

Single Use - Cycling

I recently replaced my old bike with a new one with an 11 tooth cassette. When I had problems with links snapping on my first chain change I noticed that the name had changed since I used them on my old 8 speed bike - it was formerly PowerLink and now PowerLock. When I looked for installation tips (just pedal and it clicks instantly), I found that the links were no longer reusable, so I ordered some spares. This is the correct brand name I am happy with when I need to remove and reinstall the…
