The directions were wrong.

Instructions were inaccurate. Wrong drill bit size and wrong top bracket size. Otherwise an excellent product. Works as advertised.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Modern

Still drives like a truck

Very difficult to install and does not provide expected driveability improvement. Both the SSF-180-40-1 Sumo Springs and this SSR-180-54-1 Sumo Springs were installed on my MH with an F-53 chassis. Still drives like a truck!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some small things

I've waited too long to update

The rear was a little more difficult to assemble than the front wheel, the RV maker fixed the bus frame in the way of the sumo spring, had to cut about an inch off the 1x1 stanchion. I put 4200 miles on the first ride, handle the wind much better and now hardly feel like 18 cyclists are passing me

Pros
  • Weight

  • Empty

They are great for jacks and stabilizers.

Mounted on our 2005 Holiday Rambler Admiral, this car had 84,000 miles and it was a very easy and sloppy drive all the way to SumoSprings. Just finished a 400 mile run on different road surfaces and different winds, a totally different RV, amazing. Tilting and wobbling have been eliminated. The white knuckles are gone, it's fun to drive.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Only available in Black

Worth it: Van Parts & Accessories

As many have said, this product will not make your gas bus ride like a diesel push rod with airbag suspension, but you will be very happy with what I do for you. Just got our first ride after installing them on my 2008 Winnebago Vista and these springs have greatly reduced some very annoying vibrations. We also saw a huge improvement when it came to larger trucks passing us at highway speeds. What impressed me the most was how the bus handled the speed bumps at our favorite campground (Ft…
