Although the white bobby pins are too white for my hair, which is a combination of gray and white, I can use them where they are not visible. The needles are strong and well made and seem to hold their protective coated tips better than my silver needles. I was concerned that the white color would not hold up well, but it also proved durable. I am very happy with the pens. It would be even nicer if they were grey!

I bought these hairpins in August 2018. I have white hair - so white invisible hairpins. These are really great hair clips. They actually have rubber tips just like the old days! This makes a big difference to the cheap, readily available, solid color ones that are widely available. No scalp scratches from these guys. Surprised they are made in the USA. The quality is not up to standard. The width (thickness of the wire) is so small that it is about half that of a "normal" invisible hair clip. Because of this there is very little bounce so they don't hold the hair in place like it should. I bought them because they are white and so far the paint hasn't peeled off. I'll keep looking for white bobby pins that actually do the job.
