I am looking for the best colored pencils. That's not it. I'm a big fan of German pencils. They can't break, but they don't change color either. Lead is so hard that it embosses paper better than it transfers ink. Very disappointing.

Slightly different colors than Indonesian product 1270-C24A6. Slightly firmer, not as much pigment in comparable colors as the others, but they also don't chip off the tip as much as the Indonesian set I had. There is a pale skin tone in set 1270 of 24 that has a darker parallel in Noris' set. I would give these pens 4 1/2 stars. I'm new to this brand and only found out about it by watching Joanna Basford's painting guides as I'm a huge fan of hers. I noticed that she used this brand. Decided to try them. Pencils don't break. They're very lightly pigmented, although to be honest I've only examined a few of the colors. I'm sure I'll be more comfortable with them (I usually use Prismacolor). I find that they go very well together. I love mixing and blending colors so pencils that blend
