A true masterpiece of German engineering. This pencil sharpener is heavy and feels solid. I'm not going to use this for practical pencil sharpening use. Instead it will be in my bug out/EDC bag. The idea is that in a difficult situation where you can't make the kindling easy, you use a small twig and sharpen it in this bad boy. I have many sharpeners, some came with pencil sets and some I bought separately but this sharpener seems to give the best results with different pencils to deliver, also colored. Kum Double Point Sharpener, 3 Function Mobius and Ruppert, Alvin Brass Bullet are good for specific pencils or specific tasks, for example the Brass Bullet delivers a very sharp point (but eats up some pencils quickly).
