According to my experience, these fittings failed to hold up in an industrial and scientific setting. While the stainless steel construction seemed promising, the adjustability made it easy for leaks and malfunctions. The only pro is that they were relatively easy to install. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh this minor advantage. I strongly advise against using these fittings for any mechanical applications, hydraulics, pneumatics or plumbing needs.

This set contains all the required stainless steel components (magnet attracts) in a plastic case with a hinged lid. This is a DIY snail clamp making kit. This is a relatively heavy job, so I'd say it works best for 2″ and larger tubing. You will receive 13 feet of strapping and 10 worm screws. To make a clip, simply cut off the desired length. You can use a good pair of side cutters, but I prefer to use a dremel and a cutting wheel and then file down the sharp edges.
