I installed as directed, used dowels and all. It doesn't fit snugly against the wall. A week later everything was shaking. I replaced it with something else, I don't have time to constantly tighten the stupid towel bar.

Last year I was remodeling a guest bathroom and tried 2 other towel rails that just didn't look right. That's great. Thanks very much! I needed a hanger that wasn't too obtrusive and would allow my guests' towels to hang straight. That's exactly what I wanted. The towel I have is too thick and too big. I ordered small ones.

This installation method is not very good. It's shaky. The little bracket that mounts to the wall has these open jagged holes that allow it to move, then the stand attaches to it with two tiny screws that just push against it. Essentially, the weight of the towel will cause it to tip in that direction. He also just asks someone to pull him out of the wall.

Good quality extrusion, good painting, rounded edges and so on. But the MAIN element where the shelf is attached to the wall anchor is completely damaged. The screw holes are cross-threaded and positioned at different angles. Poor finishing steps that are most important for installing the product. With us it falls out of the wall after 1 month.

I like the way it looks but can't get it to stay in place. The rear brace has screw slots that help with alignment, but they also make it easier to hit and loosen a screw. I can't get it so it will stay tight. Also, the metal is not bent at right angles, making it irregular. I will send it back and would not recommend it.

Don't buy that crap. I'm short, it doesn't attach securely to the wall. It will wiggle everywhere no matter how hard you tighten the screws. This is because the mounting bracket is smooth and curved; it does not snap into the towel rail. Therefore, the towel rail swings easily no matter how you put it on. I've tried using multiple items in combination with the mount to make it stronger, but to no avail. This thing is just bad, flawed design. Complete garbage.

I would say that it is impossible to mount this hanger on the wall with the supplied accessories. He's not durable at all. It's buttoned up enough to fit a towel in if you don't care how it looks. You may get better results if you go to a hardware store and get better quality wall mounts. The ones that come with the product suck best. I think it's just bad design. Don't they test this stuff before they release it? It would be nice if it was securely attached to the wall.
