It is made of plastic with a stainless steel band around it.

I bought this box to install on my tractor. I need to reinforce the bottom to bolt it to the tractor as it's only plastic. It's attractive but not durable as I expected.

Fake News!: Tool Organizer

It's not stainless steel, it's PLASTIC. however, it is very thin. If it were steel it would be less than 30 gauge and you would need a micrometer to measure the thickness.

steel and plastic! on organizer for tools

medium tool box. It's not steel. Metal plates are built into the structure. The black parts of the photo are made of plastic, the silver ones are made of some kind of metal. Even though the metal parts are a kind of "steel", this is not a steel tool box.

Not well done. fits tool boxes

This is a plastic box, not metal. The stainless steel is a thin film around the body of the box. It is only decoration and intended to deceive. The clasps are metal, plastic is better, like some other boxes, but the edges are thin and uncomfortable to work with.

good tool box with flimsy plastic hinges that won't last more than a few uses.

Sturdy and stylish design

I bought this tool box for Dad for Father's Day this year. Sometimes he can be rough with his work materials. So I knew that any tool box I was going to buy had to be, first and foremost, strong and strong enough to withstand my father's work. :) He loves it and brags about how durable it is for his tools.
