I use them to remove dried powder residue although they can handle larger deposits. It is also excellent for removing small rust deposits before installing new wheel bearings. They're not durable, but for the price, they're inexpensive.

I ordered them in the box and they meet my expectations for a quality small stainless steel wire brush. The plastic handles flex a bit, but I've never broken them, and they seem to do the job of cleaning battery posts or rusty screws and threads. I use them every day and always want to have them on hand. I can only recommend this product and the low price.

Primarily for use on or around a boat, but they will come in handy on a jeep as well. Metal brushes for beginners leave small, tiny fragments in everything they are used for.
