First make sure you measure the neck of the bottle

Guess I thought all oil or vinegar glass bottles have the same neck size. I was wrong. These dispensers are too big for the bottle I keep my olive oil in. My old dispenser fell apart completely after years of use, but I figured I could just order another without a problem. When they say the hole is 1 inch wide, they mean just the hole, not the entire glass cover.

Olive oil carafe spout

Bought these to replace a worn olive oil spout. The old one leaked around the rubber stopper, which meant I was constantly wiping the bottle; It was very difficult to remove for cleaning and the plastic/rubber actually started to degrade. These new ones don't seem to have any of these issues. The cork seals well, is easy to remove for cleaning, and pours well instead of dripping. Minimal leakage is best in wine filling machines

I bought these because I was tired of olive oil dripping out of the bottle and making a mess on the counter. I measured my bottle to make sure it was the right size and was happy to see it fit. After using them for a week, I noticed that sometimes the oil comes out through the breather tube and leaks a little. However, the leakage is minimal and much less than the leakage that occurs if you pour it directly from a bottle without a nozzle. Also, I've found that the vinaigrette doesn't spill out…

The spout is less angled than the original spout

The spout on this spout is slightly longer and straighter (on the right in the photo) than the spouts that came with our bottles - this means we have to tilt the spout a bit more bottle than we are used to to obtain OIL. It was a little annoying at first, but we got used to it. Other than that, it's no worse and no better than the original - all those ducts leak a bit after several months of use. Worked well for a full bottle. Then it didn't stay in the bottle cap.

I used it for a bottle. When I refilled the bottle, the cork would not stay on top of the bottle, preventing me from pouring any amount without the entire cork falling out. I took it out and carefully washed it thoroughly with dish soap, rinsed it and let it air dry to make sure the rubber didn't slip on the ceramic neck but was tight. I never resealed it so I can't water it. THIS IS NOW USELESS AND WILL NOT SEAL THE BOTTLE. I ordered a set of real cork spouts to replace them.

Olive Oil Carafe Spout
