I LOVE this french press. I'm a coffee snob and I buy very select beans. The last few drops I had were amazing. It brings out so much flavor. The coating keeps the coffee warm for a while. I was afraid it would look like cheap sheet metal but it was actually pretty solid. The glass was thicker than the previous two French presses I've bought from Revain. This is more traditional when there is no secondary filter or screen at the outlet. However, I had no noticeable issues with drag slip. I bought it for $14.99 and I think it's a good deal - I'd happily pay up to $20 for it.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas about 2 months ago and he uses it every day! It's great for sifting coffee grounds and tea leaves and loves that not only does it look cool but it's also very durable. 27 ounces is the perfect amount of coffee/tea for us. I can already say that this press will serve us for a long time, even with constant use.

I had no problems with this French Press. I'm not a coffee snob, I drink it for the caffeine. It takes a little more time and effort than my old coffee maker, but I find the coffee tastes better. To clean, I use a plastic spatula to gently scrape the coffee grounds off the strainer and out of the container. Then I rinse with hot water and dry. I do not remove the glass from the stainless steel case. I see no need. (Someone broke the glass like this in a one-star review.)

Very well made, works great, no problem with this item. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a very good French press coffee/tea maker at a very reasonable price! It does its job very well and is built so well that it should last a very long time. I use it at least 3 times a week and it works consistently well and shows no signs of wear, even after months of use and multiple trips in the dishwasher.

Who doesn't love using beautiful kitchen utensils? The lid is heavy duty stainless steel, there is no plastic liner on the bottom like my 12 oz. one. Constructed from highly durable stainless steel; this thing is strong! The sieve on the tamper is the right size - the coffee grounds do not flow out. However, after only 10 months of once-a-day use, the rubber seals covering the cap around the flask fell off. Without a seal, flushing water can penetrate into the cavity of the lid. I still think…

Everything seems to be well made and I like the look but I have a couple of problems, one minor and one a bit more serious.
