Great replacement for plastic straws

I bought these straws after using disposable plastic straws every day for almost a year. All the junk started coming at me, so I looked for something more eco-friendly and found this. I'm very glad I did! They are the perfect length and very easy to clean, especially with the brush provided. There's a slight metallic taste, but it's not strong enough to stop me from using them; They're also a bit wider than your regular plastic straws, but I really appreciate that as it allows me to drink…

Not suitable for picking cherries

Requires a slightly wider straw - not for smoothies but for picking cherries - this may seem odd to those of you who spit out pits, but if you're on the Squeeze plastic straw for a smoothie, it runs from the end of the stem to the bottom of the cherry's "navel", leaving the stem and pit in the straw, and you have a whole pitted cherry, ready to eat or freeze. Anyway, I was hoping the wide smoothie straws would be the same size as the plastic smoothie straws - snug but not quite so they mutilate

Non-toxic, durable, dishwasher safe and heats/cools with your drink (Nice Bonus!)

This is amazing! Benefits: - Help the environment by reducing your use of single-use plastic (if you really want to know what single-use cups, forks and straws are doing to our planet and to us, check out the Bag It documentary) - Seems indestructible!
