Both shears were very dull as they had been used before maybe returned and then sent to me as new very sad and disappointing! πŸ˜•

Cons

Very easy to use: Scissors

They are so easy to use. I tried to cut the applique with regular scissors and only damaged the fabric. They shorten the ideal distance to the seam. They are very comfortable and ergonomic.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Secret

Normal scissors, not as sharp as I would like

Everything is fine. Duckbill scissors work great, but other scissors have trouble cutting. I can probably sharpen them to improve them, but it's kind of a pain that they're blunt out of the bag.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Angle and Duckbill Scissors

The angled embroidery scissors were difficult to maneuver in my car. The angle doesn't seem right and the thread doesn't cut easily. I've only used duckbill scissors a couple of times, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Suitable for embroidery and quilting

I gave this to a friend who does a lot of machine embroidery and quilting and specialty quilting and she was delighted to receive it. They are a value compared to some other scissors with the same function. My friend said they were a good deal and worked just as well.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires base

I love the long neck sharp scissors

I love the long sharp scissors the most. It feels good in my hand and I like the reach when cutting thread from my sewing machine. I've only used duck once; However, it didn't impress me at the moment, probably because I still have to learn how to use it properly.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
