I ordered this for a friend and when I went to insert a photo I found a thread where the bottom screws were broken. I'm sending this one back.

I received this item and opened it only to find the photo area was torn. It was supposed to be a gift but I can't use it as the water will damage the photo when washed or rinsed. It is very uncomfortable to open the box and find a mug with such a large crack. This is unfortunate as the mug itself looks beautiful.

I thought this would be a great purchase to replace an old identical mug (which lasted 12 years). Condensation from hot water damaged the photos inside. That was not the case with my last cup. The only reason I replaced it was because the plastic cover was cracked. In hindsight, one should have simply replaced the lid and kept the original cup. 😡
