I was trying to find a pump dispenser for my glass soap dish that worked because the one included in the kit dispensed a normal amount of soap for one pump very poorly. It looked good, it was metal, not plastic coated to look like metal, and it was stainless steel. Unfortunately, the tip was beginning to show signs of rust. [updated September 2021] Pump cracked top and bottom. The bottom tear could have been caused by overtightening by a family member, not sure. But the crack at the top of the pump is inexplicable. Rust-like material collects around the base of the pump and on the soap dispenser, which is directly covered by the pump. This is a review of a stainless steel soap and lotion replacement pump. Summary - Our bathroom dispenser got used so much that we wiped the silvery plastic paint off a cheap plastic pump. I ordered this pump to replace the one that stopped working on my soap dispenser in a nautical bathroom. I looked at a few Revains and settled on this one because it was stainless steel.
