This stainless steel shelf measures 36 inches long and is 16 inches wide. Wall shelf is made from 18 gauge 300 series stainless steel. 1.5 inch rear riser protects walls from splashes and spills in restaurant or home settings. NSF certified: commercial quality. Easy to install: mounting holes are located at the back of each shelf. Wall shelves are ideal for commercial or home use

Best metal shelf I found

I have 8 full kitchen canisters on this shelf and it is not bowing. I am not quite sure what the metal is nor do I really care. It holds my canisters and gadgets, it looks like stainless steel, it is a great size for a smallish space and it does not bow. Also, it does not clang if you move something on it. It has not scratched either. Magnets will NOT stick to this metal.

  • The flat surface of the shelf makes it difficult to clean, collecting grime and dirt over time

Easy installation, protected packaging and receipt condition excellent

Outstanding quality, easy installation, protected packaging and receipt condition excellent. Mounting points with provided hardware (nuts and bolts) provide maximum flexibility for stability and ensuring the shelf is level once mounted to a wall or other surface.

Okay but made in China

I bought this shelf thinking that John Boos was an American company with American made steel. When I received the box is was labeled made in China. I was disappointed in that, but it seems to be a sturdy shelf. Only time will tell on the quality of the stainless steel. I have installed this a damp building over a 3 bin sink.

Excellent product and fast delivery

Very well made and fast delivery. We are going to use this in a commercial kitchen. The first order was damaged in shipping and the exchange was fast and easy.

Product Damage from Manufacturing

I normally don't write reviews, but with this purchase I felt compelled to do so. The front corner of this shelf was obviously damaged during manufacturing. It was very poorly repaired, with a "patch" that you can easily see, and the stainless is badly marred - and yet it was still shipped as a new unit. I couldn't be more disappointed in this poor quality control. My ratings for sturdiness, ease of installation, and value are strong - the damaged corner drove down my overall rating.

I like the look of the bevel bend at the bottom .

Got two of these for over the counter in my small apt, I like the look of the bevel bend at the bottom of the shelf face. Good product wheel built, sturdy.!

Very Sturdy in my review

Awesome shelf. Installed it as a liquor rack behind my bar. Holds a full rack of liquor with wall anchors without issues.

  • All of the shelves came with a massive dent in them.

Good shelf, bad shipment

The shelf is great and works as expected. The shipment was bad, package was smashed, the shelf was bended and we had to straighten it
