🌼 Premium Stakich Yellow Beeswax Block - Pure and Triple Filtered - Large 5 Pound Size Review

A few weeks ago I bought 2 pounds of Stakich Beeswax and was pleased with the quality, enough to go back and buy another 5 pounds. The second order didn't look like the original packaging or the photos at all. The shape of the block, color, texture and smell were completely different. The wax smelled awful. Upon opening it turned out that this product did not match the original order and was of inferior quality. We returned immediately.

I mainly use this product for making candles. With that in mind, it's great for making candles. The product works, it's just not what is advertised. 100% beeswax smells like beeswax, not plastic. This wax has a very strong plastic, processed smell. The beeswax I know smells like honeycomb. The yellow block on the left in the photo is what I ordered and the block on the right is 100% beeswax. As I said, I will make candles out of what I have bought, but I will not be a regular customer.

This stuff, whatever it is, is absolutely disgusting! I wanted to use it to make candles because of the health benefits of beeswax for people like me. The moment I opened the package and cut one of the bars the smell was so rancid and nauseating that I sent it back SAME DAY shortly after receiving it. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Luckily I found a local apiary that sells wax 30 minutes from my house and mails it out (not cheap but you get what you pay for).
