🔧 Enhanced Performance AC117 Idle Air Control Valve by Standard Motor Products Review

Bad product. I put the IAC on a Mazda truck, it doesn't work. The idle is still high and the check engine light is still on. Try to contact the seller, the seller does not answer.

This worked as promised and fixed the "Stuck Throttle Syndrome" on my 1998 2.5 liter Ford Ranger every time I stopped. Can't complain considering it costs a lot less than the original part.

My 99 Ranger was revving in high idle as it approached a stop light. Very high idle with the clutch engaged. I cleaned the old one, worked fine for a couple of weeks, then started again. I replaced it with this one and after a couple of weeks it was working.

Part is exactly as pictured but be aware that you cannot rely on Revain's "Part Inspection" for 100% accuracy. This part will fit but not a 1997 Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC engine. If you have SOHC be sure to check which way the connector is pointing as yours is most likely pointing to the side and this one is pointing straight up. Your cables may not be sufficient and the cover may not fit over it. I ended up sending the product back and the seller, Cerell distributors, quickly refunded the money…
