good product at a reasonable price

Great for my son's 2004 Scion xA. I saved about $100 compared to buying the part locally. I received what appeared to be part of the Toyota Geniune. The hardest part is unplugging the hoses. Plus, it's easy to swap yourself out (assuming you're good with a ratchet and can get under the back of the car).

My car kept getting the check engine light for the evaporator canister and it failed the test. When I installed this new canister, the check engine light went out and my car passed the inspection. Be careful when deleting connections. You will probably need toothpicks. There is a good video on YouTube called "Toyota Corolla Evaporator Canister Replacement".

Easy enough to remove and install.

I have been offered over $500 to replace this unit at my local shop. After paying $50 for a diagnostic "smoke test" in the garage, I found that I had saved over $200 by doing this removal and installation myself. As others have said, some hoses are easy to remove, but there is one hose in particular that can be quite tricky to remove without the right tools (a curved awl or standard thin curved screwdriver is recommended).
