Fixed fuel issue and improved MPG.

I have a 2007 Hyundai Elantra that won't start after I fill it up with fuel. This flush valve did it. I even have better gas mileage after installing the part. I went from an average of 24mpg to an average of 28mpg around town. I'm a happy customer!

Perfect fit, fixed starting problems after refueling

I bought this part because after refueling the car started very poorly and my check engine light came on. and examining the trouble code led to this part. It was an exact replacement and after installing it and clearing the fault code the check engine light stayed off and there was no more hard starting after filling up. Standard branded parts have been around for a long time and I have bought this brand many times and have never had a problem.

Pros
  • Fit: universal fit
Cons
  • unreliable

Did the job! for exhaust and emissions

I had two problems: Check Engine Light came on almost daily due to OBD code P0446; difficult starting after refueling. Replacing this part fixed both issues. I've heard that these purge valves are known to be defective. This appears to be true because my mechanic had previously replaced it. After he replaced it, the Check Engine light still came on intermittently and more frequently over time until it came back on almost every day. This new one seems to work fine; It's been a few weeks now and…

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Useless functions
