This automotive sensor caused nothing but trouble for me. After installing it, my car started to malfunction and lose power. I took it to a mechanic, who told me that the sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. This cost me extra money and time.

Very difficult to install on a 2002 Cadillac DeVille DTS Northstar but it prevented engine oil from spilling out of the original part. Hand tightened only! The plastic is brittle and the wrench can break the thread. Good silicone O-ring for final sealing.

It replaced the original GM sensor on my Corvette. The GM part is a combination of plastic and metal. This part is all plastic, but it fits and works well. One of the reasons I chose this part is that it has a slot in the plastic hex part so you can easily remove the connector next time. The GM part has no socket and it was difficult to remove the plug.
