Faulty sensor ruins my day

As a loyal automotive enthusiast, I was excited to test this replacement part, but I was extremely disappointed. As a result of my tests, I determined that the sensor provided inaccurate readings, making it difficult to trust the data it was providing. The only pro is that it's easy to install, but that's not worth the headache it caused. Ultimately, I had to replace it with a more reliable option, costing me even more money in the end. Don't waste your time or money on this product.

Pros
  • High-quality materials ensure durability and longevity.
Cons
  • Some users report compatibility issues with certain vehicle models.

but I'm glad this one worked as well as

plug and play. This fixed my '94 Grand Cherokee. I'm disappointed that the original part didn't work, but I'm glad this one worked just as well as it did before. If your Cherokee suddenly won't start, before you spend a lot of time and money diagnosing the problem, I suggest replacing it. For $40 and 20 minutes you have nothing to lose.

The sensor fits but doesn't work on my 1996 Grand Cherokee

I had a faulty sensor and I replaced it with this one and the jeep wouldn't run, I did a little research and called the local dealer, and they said to use only the mopar sensor. I went back to OEM Mopar and it starts right away. I'm not returning it as I've had it for over a month and am trying to figure out why it's not working. The sensor may work on others, but not on the 1996 Grand Cherokee.

Pros
  • Sensors
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
