Skip it and buy a Ford part.

Claimed to be comparable to 2000 Expeditionary 5.4L V8. It is not. Where the large o-ring sits is smaller than the factory fuel pressure regulator. Thus, when installed, it allows fuel to pass through. I returned the first for the second regulator thinking I might have screwed it up. not the same problem with the second. I think I need to buy a genuine Ford regulator.

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Will not fit 2002 Ford F-150 5.4L V8 Supercrew

Compared to the one I replaced. is that the sealed cap doesn't fall down and over the edge to the bottom large o-ring like the original and when fitted fuel spills around it. And yes, I didn't forget to oil the o-rings and reattach the clip. on site.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Runs on 5.0L in 2000 Explorer

The pipe installed on the 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0L V8 has the vacuum pipe coming out straight from the top but on this one it comes out the side. I did a little research and Ford stopped the truck customization and said to use it on the Crown Victoria or something (which is ridiculous btw. Thing isn't that old). In any case, it works great. There is enough space to install the vacuum nipple on the side, not on the top. Fixed the blown regulator on the truck and it's working great again.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Mostly OK but...
