Buy another brand.

5 minutes works, then nothing. Worked 15 minutes three days later, then nothing. Not worth buying. I work as a mechanic and this is on my own truck. Good thing I didn't install it in customer cars.

Inaccurate readings - totally useless for Toyota

Very dissatisfied with the device, it works in the sense that it is a resistor that changes resistance when heated, but its resistance values do not match the Toyota sensors , I see less resistance . This means it shows your engine is running hotter than it actually is. I installed this after changing the head gasket and this dumb thing got me checking everything (water pump, radiator, thermostat) to find out why the engine is getting hot? , at least on the gauge, did I have a heater or no…

not worth buying! Get it directly from your Toyota dealer.

I purchased this part for my 1996 Toyota Camry in August 2015. Ever since installing it, I've had nothing but headaches. The temperature gauge will go red (HOT), at which point the fans will turn on and bring it back up to medium temperature (between cold and hot). and then swings back to HOT. I changed my radiator, my thermostat, took it to various mechanics including Toyota's chief mechanic and they told me it could be a grounding problem. It turns out to be a faulty $11 piece of junk. I will
