Very dissatisfied with the device, it works in the sense that it is a resistor that changes resistance when heated, but its resistance values do not match the Toyota sensors , I see less resistance . This means it shows your engine is running hotter than it actually is. I installed this after changing the head gasket and this dumb thing got me checking everything (water pump, radiator, thermostat) to find out why the engine is getting hot? , at least on the gauge, did I have a heater or no heater. I ended up buying a device from Toyota, yes it was almost $30 but it works so I got something useful for my money as opposed to this one which was just a waste.
