Stopped working after a week. Do not buy this part online, get it from a certified parts store and have a mechanic install it under warranty.

I needed a new EGR VSV for my 97 Camry and this is the only one that actually works. I got a dorm that was $30 cheaper and it didn't save me from CEL. I sent it back and put it on instead and no problems since. Don't try to save extra money by buying a cheaper one. Not open for over a week

Remove the 12 mil cap screw, 2 inch bore. Enough will fall to disconnect electrical connectors and vacuum hoses. It is not easy to remove the knock sensor electrical connector. I broke a wire from the KNOCK SENSOR. I JERRY CONNECTED a connection cable. I didn't reinstall the VSV to its original position, the wire was attached to the rod mount. It was hell working in that hole with one hand! What was Toyota thinking when installing this plastic part under the passage?
