Error after 3 months!

Worked great for 3 months and now it just stopped. The same EGR code came back 3 months ago. Mileage 3 months and 16,000 miles.

It is better to pay $380 for installation.

Just what my van needs. Worked great. A trained monkey could do it. Save a few hundred bucks, buy it and do the work, or let a mate do it. Very easy.

So far so good good for EGR valves

This is the second time in 2 years that I have had to replace this part on my Jeep Wrangler. As they age, they begin to burn more oil, making life difficult for the EGR valve. All versions of this valve I've seen look the same. Maybe they are all from the same factory. Who knows. while it works fine.

The manufacturer's design just sucks. But the part works and was delivered promptly

Anyone wondering what an EGR valve does must agree that sucking in exhaust gases and directing them into the intake manifold without any or filtering is just banal stupidity . As the engine ages and burns more oil, that crap then goes back into the engine. The piece was really well built, bolted right on and was very easy.

Great product - exhaust and emissions

Great product. I installed it on my 2009 Chrysler Town & Country 3.8L last night. Had to buy an EGR valve because my OBD-II reader had code p0405. I replaced it with a new one and cleaned the pipe leading from the EGR valve to the engine which was badly clogged with junk. There were two small holes at the end of the pipe that goes into the motor that I didn't even know had holes until I cleaned them up with a PB blaster. The EGR valve comes with gaskets.
