Used for flush mounting my Simrad VHF. The stuff seemed a bit cheesy at first, but it actually worked pretty well and was easy to install. Mounted on a fast center console and has endured several long, rough rides with no sign of letting up. Really good value for money.

They fit perfectly and hold my Horizon radio great. I installed this on a 2017 Seafox Avenger center console. The console is approximately 1/4 inch thick.

I ordered this to flush mount the GX1400G through the 3/4” starboard side. The maximum surface it will work on is 1/2 inch. Bad design IMHO because the radio mount screw is at least 1 inch threaded.

I bought two sets of these mounts, one for the GX-2150 and one for the GX-5000. Flush mounts are easy to install and tighten perfectly with minimal irritation. They didn't stick out so far that I couldn't use them on radios that were 3 inches apart, which is rare. I can usually use a standard bracket but have to make a different one to fit between the radios.

I ordered these as I needed to replace a faulty Simrad radio that was flush mount. I wasn't sure if I could use the Simrad bindings because the boat is in the pier. I figured I'd take them and return them if they weren't needed. Turns out I could use Simrad, but they weren't as well designed as these.
