Blade Armour coating on the first 100 mm reduces the risk of breaking the tape by 95 percent, whilst Mylar coating delivers up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion. Three-rivet end hook 40 percent strong than a two rivet hook construction, specially designed hook grabs on side, top or bottom for versatility. Unit of measure - Metric.

Surprisingly Accurate Tape Measure

This tape measure exceeded my expectations. As a hesitant buyer, I was unsure about purchasing this, but I'm glad I did. Industrial and scientific in nature, it is perfect for my job. As a result of my tests, I determined that it is incredibly accurate and easy to read. The standout feature is the reliable locking mechanism, which is a huge plus. The only downside is the price, but it's worth it for the quality.

Very durable for linear measurements

Has lasted 4 years in harsh conditions, even with multiple falls from 4ft onto concrete floor (accidentally) it still worked great, these FAtmax tapes offer a very good value money

Quality tape measure

They should have sent it to me from Germany. The package was open at both ends and when I lifted it the tape fell out. Driven a third around the world. And people complain about mail. Anyhow, it's exactly the same as other Stanley Fatmax bands, except they're metric only. Marking is on one side only, and millimeter markings top and bottom with numbers through each centimeter and meter. This of course makes life easier for the carpenter. I no longer have to mess with fractions to do…
