🔨 Efficient Chiseling with the Stanley 16 298 Piece Cold Chisel Review

Excellent chisels. We bought them for a geode hunting trip so we could break rocks. They are very strong and quite heavy, and the sharp edges make them unsafe for children. But if for any reason you need a good chisel I would definitely recommend it.

Not bad, not what I expected. Lesson for me: Find out the details before you buy. The tips are too thin for my purposes. And if you drive into a rock (just a couple of times), the base end wears out quickly. A regular thicker metal scraper with a plastic handle will work better if you're using it on rocks. I can't talk about other goals.

PERFECT for climbing. These chisels are small but pack a powerful punch! These little chisels work better than my Eastwing chisel. They split and break the same rock much easier. The size makes it easy to carry all 3 and the smallest is ideal for detail work and micro collections. Easily removes small garnets and topazes from the matrix without damaging the stones, or allows you to remove a piece of the matrix and leave the stone inside.
