Power Safely with Stanley 31610 SurgeMax Pro: 9 Outlet Metal Surge Protector in Sleek Black Review

Item arrived damaged. A plug was not installed so the metal was bent so much that the plug didn't fit at all. Also, it arrived later than the promised 2-day delivery.

Disappointed my wand/surge protector came with a broken socket. I've tried plugging in multiple devices but there's no power, all other outlets work fine.

Sockets do not hold plugs well, especially two-prong cords. This makes the whole expansion feel cheap, but it needs to be done. However, I like the number of outlets and the form factor of this power strip. Too bad the rest is crap.

This socket was the perfect addition to my tool box! I kept looking for it but didn't feel like spending $40 for the same length. I stumbled across this one thinking it was a reputable name and as I have several other Stanley products that work well I went with it and bought this one. All in all it was a very good buy.

Almost perfect but the 15A switch is a must for shop use. Would you like to use a saw and a shop vacuum at the same time? Forget it. There may be 15A circuits somewhere, but I don't have them. Ordered two of these. One was unemployed. I had to open the bus cable and solder it to the panel. The factory did not screw or solder. Poor workmanship and lack of quality control. I have 4 of these installed in my workshop, house and garage and they work great! While there are many such sockets out there, this one has a few features that make it easy to use and install: 1) The exposed screw holes on both ends are a huge bonus and make these strips easy to install.
