📏 Stanley 33-525 25ft 1-inch PowerLock Tape Measure Review

Used Stanley 25ft tapes since 1975. I have a lot of old Powerlock tapes. The blade on this band is by far the weakest I've seen on a Stanley band. The blade on my vintage 8' powerlock from the 90's is better than this. Some economical 25 foot Stanley tapes I sold in 2004 (bought 3 of these for $4.99 each in a large box) have much more powerful blades than this one. I hope Stanley never stops making them! I use them professionally every day and prefer the shape and smaller size for a 25 foot tool with a 1 inch blade. They also work well and last a long time if you take good care of them. That doesn't mean they need to be petted. Of course not mine. I've been in the construction industry for 30 years and use a tape measure every day. All the big retailers started selling big, bulky, heavy tapes with huge tips. As a carpenter, I prefer this tape measure: It feels good in the hand, isn't too bulky or complicated, but still makes hundreds of measurements a week on the construction site.
