🔪 Stanley Fatmax 33-735 Bladearmor™ Coating Review

The item 33-735 is indicated in the photo in the ad. blade armor. The product they sent me is part number 33-735, Fatmax Classic. Something is wrong BUT it's still a very good roulette wheel, very well made and the price is pretty much what you would pay anywhere else.

This is my second. This time I went for the Mylar version for more rigidity. I liked the first one, but this one is even better. The first fell under the wheels, tore and finally broke. I was disappointed to see that I couldn't easily replace the ribbon (at least I couldn't find one). However, everyone should own this important tool.

I would like what they show me when I pay for something although yes it is a great tape measure. I have to deduct a star for bad publicity. The price isn't bad as the tape measure is bulky and feels like it will stand up to a construction project.

Fat Max is the Ferrari among measuring tapes. It is 2.5 cm wide with large numbers and bars that make it easy to read. It has a "cleat mark" every 16 inches. It is rigid and the measuring tape can be stretched by at least 10 FR in a self-supporting manner, which means that you can also carry out longer measurements yourself without any problems. The body is made of hard plastic, mostly covered with rubber. The tape measure is 35 feet long.

I bought this to replace a 35" FatMax that I had for over ten years but eventually wore out (blade coating cracked). It's not what it was. The new one is flexible and has terrible drag - the blade twists and warps when it just doesn't hit the ground. And the blade locking feature is fiddly and often doesn't work - made worse by the blade retraction which often doesn't work. So a flexible blade that does not jam or retract. Terrible.

I got tired of rummaging through my husband's tools every time I needed to measure something so I decided to bring my own tape measure to buy. I wanted the brand to be different from his so he wouldn't try to pass it off as his own, but I also wanted quality. After a little research, I settled on Fatmax.
