I love Stanley products and these pliers are no different than all my other great Stanley tools - not to say I have a huge collection but I have bought a lot over the years. Stanleys seem to stand longer, stronger and more durable.
Hey I need some good pliers in my toolbox. A large selection of my husband's pliers are old and dirty. He'd better keep his dirty hands off my new tools! Stanley is the name for quality in tools. I believe they will serve their purpose well and for a long time.

Pros: Very inexpensive, good quality household tongs. Cons: Can rust quite easily

I considered several sizes, but 8 inches is a good compromise. leverage and size. It's almost too big for a good one-handed grip with my medium-sized male hands (but works well). The tongs are about 8.5 inches end to end compared to 7 inches for the Craftsman tongs I had. forever and ever. I've given up on the 6"β¦
