Here they are fantastic, bet on a couple of our doors. There is more to change. Works very well on doors that tend to close themselves.

Many doors in our 20 year old new home don't stay open. The previous owners left a collection of beautifully carved intricate doorstops, but they weigh a ton. These magnetic stops are AWESOME. Not by the way, but they do their job. Very happy with the purchase and planning to get a few more for the last wayward doors.

LOVE these door latches. Attractive and very well designed. Very easy to install and really works. We installed them on the pantry door, laundry room door, and the two French doors that lead to the glass-enclosed porch. Each door now snaps firmly into the open position and it takes a strong tug to close the door and release the magnetic connection. Perfect for what we were looking for.

I decided to buy them because of the color and Stanley is a good brand. Looks great, assembly was easy. I replaced the branded silver ones and expected them to be better, but the magnet isn't as strong. My garage door has spring hinges and hardly stays open. I have to try 3-4 times but I can get it to stick. Dissatisfied with the strength of the magnet, otherwise everything is fine.

They work great - let's see if the doors slam again next time I have my windows open. They lose points for being black, NOT oil rubbed bronze. Also, they took another star for the lack of instructions, and in fact there are no instructions to be found anywhere. It's mostly obvious how to install them, but they don't tell you what you should do with the anchor or when you need it. I haven't used it, three screws I think would be good.
