Looks great in furniture accessories

I have installed several similar doorstops that were more expensive but my cats decided the tops are toys and kept tearing them off and chewing on them. Cats can't tip on this product so I'm happy.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Looks great. however

Looks great. However, I didn't notice that the end cap had come loose, that's where I had to screw it in. Finally I tried to grab it with pliers around the towel and she scratched it. Since it's hard, it also hurts if you pinch your toe! Not surprisingly, most of them are spring-loaded.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Color faded

Scratches very lightly. The "oiled bronze" paint chipped off in a few spots when I installed it (which was very easy. You just screw it into the wall like a giant screw). If it wasn't for the scratching issue it would look good and seem pretty solid and secure.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some flaws

Nice ORB finish in the doorstops

I like the oil rubbed bronze finish so I bought these but wish the rubber stopper on the end was bronze or black. White shows too much. My Southwest home looks rustic and natural except for the white ends. It's like leaving white switches on a plastered wall. However, I can't find a completely dark doorstop, so I'll limit myself to that.

Pros
  • Nice looking
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good quality doorstop

I really liked these doorstops. I wasn't sure what the quality would be like but when I received them they were very hard and thick. More than I expected. I have installed them on several doors and they all work and look good with my chosen finish. I have had no problems with them and am happy with this purchase. I wish I had done this many years ago when the builders split and avoided damaging the wall!

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent quality, perfect doorstop.

Cool! They work great and look very nice. I've had them for about 6 months and they don't tear or anything. They also feel very sturdy. I used to have ones that had a spring and could bend a little, which isn't great with my 2 year old. It was very fun for her to step on, bend, etc. They just blend into the wall and she doesn't even care.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great value but screw slightly wider than previous doorstops

Great value! I bought a couple of these to replace the brass plated spring loaded doorstops from the 1980's. Every door in my house, to be precise. Not only were the old doorstops from the 1980's gross, my cats discovered they could bang the feathers over and over again to produce that horrible BOINGA! BOINGA! BOINGA! BOINGA! BOINGA! Sound. Again and again. At three in the morning. The only thing I agree with is that the screw was a bit thicker than the screw from my original doorstops so I had

Looks good but installation is unnecessarily complicated

Door stopper appears solid but the plastic cover has a noticeable defect. I liked that the bronze doorstop comes with a matching color cap (close enough, not perfect) instead of white. Installation is more complicated than it should be for such a simple product: there's a tiny hole in the lid for you to insert a jeweler's screwdriver, nothing more. It doesn't offer a huge purchase, and I didn't want to ruin the doorstop's finish by turning the square body inside out. I ended up drilling a…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

My only regret is not buying a 10 pack to start with

Loved these doorstops. They look good and work well. I bought one and it was brilliant. I was actually able to get it in without drilling a pilot hole. I literally used my bare hands to get the best out of it and at the last minute I screwed it in with a wrench. I wasn't aware there were more traditional methods of screwing them in, but being able to literally just use my hands might be the way to go if you get into trouble. Maybe I got "creative" because the kit didn't come with really good…

Pros
  • . Like everything before
Cons
  • Compatibility
