Please answer me Stanley. It just disappointed me. Something got stuck in the canteen soda, I tried to remove the pouring water but it "stuck", I think this is the paint material used on the outside of the canteen.

I bought this bottle for my boyfriend for Christmas, he used it twice and the metal part of the cord broke. To be honest I'm very surprised because I thought buying a Stanley product would make it better but apparently I was wrong. Would not recommend this product.

Be careful with this bottle. I left the bourbon in for a week and a half and it turned blue. That's what vinegar does when you patina a charcoal blade in it. Whatever steel is used to make this bottle, it is not stainless. can poison you I threw mine in the trash.

Overall this is a good bottle that should work well and not leak. You have to wash it before use as I had small pieces of plastic inside. As others have said, the weak link is the plastic lid mount.
