Never Enough Tools on Hand Tools

I bought this to tighten rocker box covers that were leaking a bit on my 2006 Electra Glide Classic. Worked great and didn't have to change any seals. Twisted the screws as specified plus a bit. Very little.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great tool for those hard to reach places

This adapter was needed to tighten the bolts on the left side of the rear rocker cover on my 2007 FLHR. I had to do some math to adjust the torque value as this adapter increases leverage. I came in at 16 ft lbs.

Pros
  • Specially heat treated alloy steel for increased strength and durability.
Cons
  • Can't remember

Expensive but well made and works.

Expensive but well made. Much better than houndstooth and the only solution for some situations. I had a lot of problems getting my order, but I didn't want to trade that off against a decent product. It goes without saying, but if you're using a torque wrench, make sure you do the math to correct the torque spec for the extra 2 inches of length on that tool, as it will make a difference. Several online torque calculator plus should be included in your wrench. Management.

Pros
  • Designed for easy torque calibration.
Cons
  • Socket required
