I opened the package and wanted to return it. It was plastic. It didn't look strong enough to be usable. The boy was surprised. I was so excited to complete my project and used it all the time. I have small hands and I used it easily and never got tired. It was easy to press on the clamp. I have a metal I'm struggling with so I've put my project on hold. It was easy to load with staples and has a little "window" to see when it needs to be reloaded. It went through fine for me. I'm SO HAPPY Iβ¦
I bought two staplers, this one is TR110 Heavy Duty. I had to do some renovations and wasn't sure which would be the best. And I wanted a cheap one for the office for small things. He stays in the office. It's actually a good stapler, but the plastic doesn't feel that strong. If you just need to hang flyers or something like that, this is fine. Anything more than cardboard or fabric or plywood and I would suggest something heavier like h TR110. Just a note, staples are not supplied, so feelβ¦
I only bought this to attach targets to cardboard at the shooting range. For that it works great. However, I tried shooting 3/8" staples through the light plastic drawer liner and into the 1/4" birch wood bottom of the drawer and the staples barely penetrated the wood. This is only serious on very light tasks. I give it 5 stars as it does what it is advertised to do. Don't expect this to shoot any wood other than soft pine with small clamps.
