Offers a good aftermarket valve cover gasket on my Jeep.

Offers a good aftermarket rocker cover gasket for my Jeep CJ. The type of connector was leaking while the engine was running. The expansion plug works much better.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Interval

Do not buy! - Oil filler caps

Seems to work fine as I have an aftermarket aluminum valve cap on my Jeep that I've been using well for a few months It's a piece Garbage, I do not recommend it, I even pulled it out with difficulty, rubber is garbage

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about this, everything is fine

Buy this oil cap. for caps

Really good cap. The old one was being dented, and as it had to be pulled out, bits of rubber began to be lost. This expands in the middle as you twist the bodice, creating a nice closure. Change directions and it will loosen up and come out easily.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Worked fine at first. but in the end my rubber broke (twice already)

I was very happy with it at first. But now I have divided the rubber part twice. I don't over tighten (especially the second time). it's almost not there. but still the rubber broke vertically. Now I'll look for something else (used on a Jeep TJ aftermarket valve cover)

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Useless functions

Terrible product in oil filler caps

As mentioned I've gone through two of these on my 258 Jeep engine. The oil filler cap that the aluminum valve cover comes with is loose and leaks constantly so I tried that. It works for a while, but then the rubber breaks and becomes unusable. The first time I thought it was a defect so I bought another - now it's happened twice and I realize it's a poorly made product. Instead, I now use a Specter SPE-1738 Performance 1738 Chrome filler plug, which is very tight but hopefully works better.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
