Not suitable for Sienna 06.

This adapter does not fit cars with a ground clearance of less than 6 inches. Thanks to the Toyota design, this is not possible without removing the motor and wiper assembly and the metal bracket under the windshield.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • Reliability

The radiator cap tester is not a cooling system tester.

Stant is a great company. I've been using it for decades. I have a problem with the description. The tool is used with a tester. This is not a cooling system psi test, it is a lid test. Not what I wanted. Always a great product.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Didn't fit my Toyota.

Called Revain and advised them to call 17867813768 this phone doesn't work. Someone ordered a 12027 radiator adapter for their Toyota and did not match the description on the website, demanding a refund and almost half the cost to me. Dissatisfied. Therefore, I advise against ordering from this seller.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Without a machine

Will not fit my Honda or Subaru

I bought this adapter to test a 2008 Subaru and a 2003 Honda Element. With the stant tester that I use on trucks. A connection to a radiator could not be established. Maybe I bought the wrong part. I simply took the measurements with a micrometer. So I don't really know how to rate it other than that it doesn't fit.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

It did the job!: Engine cooling and air conditioning

I have a very old Stant radiator pressure gauge. It had a large mouth which worked great on my old American cars, but my new Subaru had a smaller spout. it did the job and allowed me to pressure test my system overnight. The adapter definitely worked as Subaru is a high pressure system and held that pressure all night! This saved me from buying another kit!

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Good but not great

New life for my old Stant pressure gauge

This was a great addition to my old Stant radiator gauge. I bought my original pressure gauge back when there was only one size radiator cap. Now that no two radiator caps are the same, I had a choice of buying a new Chinese kit or this adapter, so I went with the adapter. I really like Stant and this product works well. I will continue to buy their adapters to make my old device work.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Not easy to use.

When I first used this I was confused because it was quite loose, just installed on the radiator (neck). As soon as I installed the *Stant* pressure tester, it snuggled up. The odd thing about the Stant pressure tester is that you usually twist the latch to seal everything, but the adapter sits high enough that it unlocks itself. Sorry if this doesn't make sense to you, but those who have experience with automotive coolant pressure gauges should understand. Everything is sealed in the end, but…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great adapter for the price

I was kinda hesitant to buy it as it's professionally used in store and most standard adapters are much more expensive and reliable but so far it's worked very well. It is used in various cooling systems from time to time and works quite well. this is a bit cumbersome at first. However, once you put it down, it's pretty easy to use and gets the job done well considering it's about 1/3 the price of the old rugged metal stant adapters. Overall, I highly recommend it for casual users. However I…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
