It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it's a nice little sealed container. I used to keep my coffee beans in a clear container in my cupboard, but this one fits the matte black theme of my kitchen and I can keep it on my kitchen counter next to the coffee maker. It is aesthetically pleasing and works exactly as advertised. Would recommend to anyone who buys coffee beans and wants the beans to stay fresh.

UPDATED 9/27/2019: I have upgraded my rating from 4 to 5 stars after using the canister for a month. It's solidly built and keeps my coffee fresh! I'm so glad I have this canister. This keeps my coffee fresh and sealed, which I've never done well. Very well done and appreciate the extra filters. I LOVE the owl. I can make coffee twice as fast. I reviewed several different canisters before settling on this one. In fact, I chose it because of the dark gray color. Thank you for having it in this color and not just stainless steel. Otherwise I would have missed it!

This is a very well made container with excellent features. While I haven't had it long enough to state the top reason for buying it, I am very impressed with its quality construction. I was able to get it for $15 during the Cyber Monday sale, which made it even better. I am posting this review after 30 days of daily use. Compare this to the "Airspace" coffee container I own. Fill both canisters with the same amount of coffee beans of the same brand.
