I have a square stand/iPad and bought it for my trade show booth. It took a few minutes to set it up. Connect to a power source. I then used the included USB cable to connect the printer to the accessory port on my square stand. Loading thermal paper was as simple as lowering the roll, making sure it feeds in the right direction, and closing the lid. I turned on the device and then launched the Square app on my iPad. I bought this printer (wireless version) for use in my restaurant and bar. We use Square to process payments, tickets, and more, and this printer is officially endorsed by Square. The problem is that the only way to connect the printer to the network is to use the WPS (Quick Wi-Fi) button and they almost never work. I spent about half an hour trying over and over again before I was finally able to connect. The documentation doesn't say anything about alternative ways to connect to the network…

Like many restaurants that have to offer so many takeaway and delivery services, we recently had to subscribe to multiple delivery services. But if you only rely on old regular printer ink and paper (with a black and white laser printer). It's not about the price, it's about the time and space these things take up.
