I bought this printer (wireless version) for use in my restaurant and bar. We use Square to process payments, tickets, and more, and this printer is officially endorsed by Square. The problem is that the only way to connect the printer to the network is to use the WPS (Quick Wi-Fi) button and they almost never work. I spent about half an hour trying over and over again before I was finally able to connect. The documentation doesn't say anything about alternative ways to connect to the network, but I downloaded the application anyway. The app was useless. If you're having the same problem, here's what I did that may have finally helped you connect: 1. Try over and over and over again.2. Disable the "guest" Wi-Fi network so the printer has fewer SSIDs to try to connect to.3. Bring the device as close as possible to the main router (we have a "mesh network" with three satellite hubs).4. Keep trying, get impatient and step aside until he finally comes to life. Now that it is in use I can report that the printer with the square performs satisfactorily and appears to be reliable. The print quality is just ok. FWIW, I would not buy this printer again. Next time I'll just find a way connect the Ethernet cable to the printer. lose patience and step aside when he finally comes to life.
