Where did it end?

The plane works as it has for many years. This plane hit a thermal on its third flight and climbed over a hundred feet. He continued to climb in circles. He was never seen again. I hope someone found it miles from here.

Pros
  • Annual probationary period
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Fun for boys who love planes

Bought for my 6 year old grandson, he had a lot of fun with it and coped well with crash landings. Stay away from the little moments my 3 year old grandson smashed it to pieces. Easy to assemble but not very durable.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Safety

Special 72nd Anniversary

This was a special gift from the grandchildren to their grandfather. When her grandfather was little, he got a similar wooden airplane for his birthday. He collected it and went outside to fly it. The first time he was on an airplane, he hit a car window, the car went by and no one else saw him. When he told this story, his grandchildren felt sorry for him. So he turned 72 this May and they wanted him to get his plane back. That was the best. 👵🏻👨🏼‍🍳

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Easy to assemble

Your simple balsa airframe. Easy to assemble. Instructions are printed on the plastic packaging, but in reality they are not needed. The beautiful pre-printed design adds character to the aircraft and makes it easy to re-center the wings after a hard landing. Packages arrived intact but both had broken wings. Even broken both planes flew and brought a lot of joy to a four-year-old child. Reduced score for some super thin and easy to break parts in both "build" and landing. An additional point…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quality

Much more fragile than I remember as a kid

I bought four of these (2 Starfire Balsa Wood and 2 Jetstream Balsa Wood) for my kids. They're really thin, especially the rear end. I understand it's cork, but simply inserting a vertical stabilizer into the hull split it apart no matter how careful we were. After we stuck it on, the planes really didn't last. The maximum life of one of these aircraft was about an hour without wing splits, vertical or horizontal stabilizers. We have used them in our garden, I think if you just play with them…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
