Although smaller than other 6 inch combo squares I've seen which is not what I expected, I use it all the time and its size is a bonus. It is very easy and convenient to use when measuring and marking small pieces of sheet metal

I didn't say it so I shouldn't have expected it to be Satin Chrome; it's not like this. No smooth slider; seems to be a bit stuck on the "engraved/katano/stamped" markings. I'll probably get a sticky rock to do this by rubbing the blade's surface, which I've experienced with an El Cheapo blade. This path didn't seem to hurt him and improved the gliding aspect.
