Excellent Friction Graduation Micrometer

As someone who works in the industrial and scientific field, i have used a variety of micrometers over the years but this one is a standout. The friction graduation is precise and allows for easily repeatable measurements. The build quality is excellent and it feels solid in your hand. The only downside is the price, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case .Overall, I highly recommend this micrometer for anyone working in dimensional measurement..

Pros
  • Accurate and precise measurements due to the friction thimble and satin chrome finish.
Cons
  • Difficult to read increments and requires some level of familiarity with micrometers to use effectively.

Good quality, uncompetitive price

Having dedicated my entire career to manufacturing, designing and using micrometers of almost every shape and size, these are my favorite non-digital friction drum micrometers. My second favorite would be Tesa/Brown and Sharpe, especially the Swiss versions. These microphones are expensive and in no way competitive in price with Mitutoyo. If you are on a budget, be sure to visit Mitutoyo. As a premium option I choose the 463 series micrometers. I gave them 4 stars only because of the price…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
