Review on Starrett T436 1XFL 4 Micrometer Friction Graduation by Jason Wesley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality, uncompetitive price

Having dedicated my entire career to manufacturing, designing and using micrometers of almost every shape and size, these are my favorite non-digital friction drum micrometers. My second favorite would be Tesa/Brown and Sharpe, especially the Swiss versions. These microphones are expensive and in no way competitive in price with Mitutoyo. If you are on a budget, be sure to visit Mitutoyo. As a premium option I choose the 463 series micrometers. I gave them 4 stars only because of the price compared to other quality brands.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
